KERBATEST 1514 is a 1 L bottle of reagent for the California Mastitis Test. Milk from all four quarters is mixed with reagent in separate wells and the thickening response is compared immediately. The test helps identify a quarter with signs of elevated somatic cell content but does not provide an exact count or identify the pathogen. A marked reaction requires confirmation under the farm’s veterinary protocol.
Hygiene is a sequence of actions
An udder cloth, protective apron and equipment brush do not replace one another. The cloth supports animal preparation, the apron protects staff during wet work, and the brush supports manual cleaning of individual parts. Each item belongs in the farm’s approved procedure rather than acting as a standalone “guarantee of cleanliness”.
UdderoClean Super 15666/15667: udder preparation
KERBL offers reusable nonwoven UdderoClean Super cloths in two sizes: 15666 at 37 × 34 cm and 15667 at 29 × 27 cm. The manufacturer specifies machine washing and boil resistance up to 95 °C. In practice, the farm should define how cloths are issued, collected, washed, dried and replaced so reuse remains a controlled process.
Premium apron 15613–15615: operator protection
The waterproof Premium apron is made from polyester with PVC coating. KERBL specifies a waterproof rating above 10,000 mm and a material range from −30 to +50 °C. Select the size for the operator and task: 15613 is M (115 × 100 cm), 15614 is L (125 × 118 cm) and 15615 is XL (140 × 124 cm). The apron protects clothing during wet work but does not replace other required PPE.
Brush 2913: manual component cleaning
KERBL brush 2913 has a wooden handle, a three-tier bristle spiral and an overall length of 50 cm. It is intended for manual cleaning of teat liners and milk hoses. It is an auxiliary tool for accessible areas and does not replace liner inspection, worn-part replacement or the equipment manufacturer’s defined CIP cycle.
