FOSS · Routine milk analysis

MilkoScan™ Mars

A compact FTIR analyser for milk intake and fast daily decisions: accept a batch, check key parameters, detect deviations and avoid overloading the laboratory. A strong fit for reception points, small and medium dairy plants and sites that need clear multi-parameter control without a complex high-throughput lab line.

MilkoScan™ Mars — Routine milk analysis

Best suited for

Milk reception points, small and medium dairy plants, farms and production labs with daily routine control

Capabilities and controlled parameters

  • Fully complies with GOST 32255-2013 for milk analysis by FTIR / mid-infrared spectrometry; also fits the ISO 9622:2013 / IDF 141 method framework
  • Reference methods, including GOST 23327-98 and GOST 34454-2018, are used for calibration and result confirmation
  • Especially useful at milk intake: helps make a fast decision on a raw-material batch before it enters production
  • Mars is useful where the result is needed directly at reception: the operator gets a clear answer before the batch is mixed with the main milk volume
  • For a deeper laboratory system, Mars can be paired with FT3: fast intake screening plus expanded control in the central laboratory
  • Raw and processed milk, cream, and whey
  • Can work as a standalone analyser or as an intake-control point next to a deeper central laboratory
  • Depending on the Mars configuration, extended parameter sets can include density and acidity; the current configuration is selected for the task
  • Fits fast checks of core parameters when speed, simplicity and a clear operator routine matter
  • Approximate sample volume of 6 ml with automatic programmable cleaning
  • Targeted and untargeted abnormal-milk and adulteration screening options

Implementation considerations

The final configuration depends on sample types, parameter ranges, throughput, accuracy requirements, and existing reference methods. Before proposing equipment, LabLog clarifies these factors and defines the supply scope, training, and method-verification plan.

How LabLog supports the project

  • 01Capture requirements and compare suitable methods
  • 02Configure the instrument, calibrations, and consumables
  • 03Arrange official supply and commissioning
  • 04Train operators in sample preparation and daily operation
  • 05Provide service communication and repeat consumable supply
